George was a student of mine who brought his Boston Terrier, Mr. Bojangles (aka Bo), to my training classes. George had bad knees but interestingly Bo never missed out on a long, fun walk because George rode on a Segway while “walking” Bo. George was a kind man who brought humor, camaraderie and hope wherever he travelled. He loved dogs and he loved to see them have fun. George played tug-of-war, fetch, frisbee, agility…if there was a game to play, George played it. George has since passed away (and Bo has found a wonderful new home), but George’s fun-loving nature and upbeat spirit will never be forgotten. CCLS plans to acquire agility equipment for this yard so our future rescue dogs can enjoy all the fun an agility course has to offer. The yard is completely fenced (the former property owners used it as a vegetable garden), but the fencing needs reinforcement in many places before it is secure for dogs.
